What is an Invitation Membership?
The Invitation Membership is Maple on Main's gift membership. It allows you to purchase Maple Premier for someone else as a one-time gift.
Is this a recurring membership?
No. Invitation Memberships are one-time, fixed gift purchases. The purchaser does not sign up for a recurring membership charge.
How long does the gift last?
You can choose one, three, or six Reading Seasons.
One Reading Season is two months of membership. Three Reading Seasons are six months of membership. Six Reading Seasons provide one full year of membership.
What does the recipient receive?
The recipient receives the Maple Premier experience for the number of Reading Seasons selected when the gift is purchased.
Their experience includes the selected book, Maple Mail, seasonal and book-inspired details, recipes, playlists, discussion prompts, conversation, community, and other elements of the Reading Season experience.
Specific seasonal extras may vary from one Reading Season to another.
How will the invitation be delivered?
You can choose a beautiful digital invitation delivered by email or a physical invitation mailed in a special envelope.
Can I personalize the invitation?
Yes. The gifting process allows you to provide the recipient's information and a personal message for their invitation.
When does their membership begin?
The recipient follows the instructions included with their invitation to redeem their gift and begin their Maple on Main membership according to the applicable Reading Season schedule.
What happens during a Reading Season?
Each Reading Season centers around a selected book and includes the Maple on Main experience surrounding it — Maple Mail, seasonal details, recipes, playlists, discussion prompts, conversation, community, and other curated touches.
Each Reading Season lasts two months.
What if I choose a mailed invitation?
Your physical invitation will be prepared and mailed in a special envelope. Please allow appropriate time for preparation and mailing when planning for a gift or special occasion.
