A little something to know before you step into your first Reading Season.
A simple way to begin.
Maple on Main is designed to be easy to step into. Because each Reading Season is thoughtfully prepared ahead of time, there are a few things we want you to know before choosing your membership.
Every membership begins with a season.
Maple on Main Reading Seasons are two months long. Rather than beginning a new membership in the middle of a season, members join in advance of the next available Reading Season.
Why?
Each season is curated and prepared ahead of time so
that your experience can begin with everything in place.
Your membership is billed monthly.
Membership payments are collected on the 1st of each month. Your first payment is collected one month before your Reading Season begins, followed by your next monthly payment on the 1st of the month your season begins.
For example
For The Evergreen Season (January–February), enrollment closes November 30. Your first payment is collected December 1, and your second payment is collected January 1 when the season begins.
Your Maple Mail arrives as the season begins.
Your first monthly payment gives us time to prepare your seasonal experience. Your physical membership materials, including Maple Mail and any seasonal items included with your membership, are prepared in advance and ship during the first week of your Reading Season.
Digital access may become available immediately after joining, while physical materials follow the seasonal shipping schedule.
Existing members continue with the next Reading Season.
Your membership continues from one Reading Season to the next as long as your membership remains active. You do not need to re-enroll for each season.
New members join the next available Reading Season.
Once enrollment for a Reading Season has closed, new members
are placed into the next available Reading Season. This gives
us the time we need to thoughtfully prepare each season and
your materials.
You can cancel when you need to.
Memberships may be cancelled at any time. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid membership month. Payments for the current paid month are non-refundable.
Physical seasonal materials that have already been prepared or shipped cannot be cancelled or refunded. Society Shop purchases are separate from membership and are subject to the Society Shop's Return & Refund Policy. For complete membership details, please see our Membership Policies.

Depending on the membership you choose, your experience may include the season's selected book, beautifully wrapped and thoughtfully presented, seasonal story-inspired items, Maple Mail, recipes, playlists, Reading Reflections, Literary Gatherings, and opportunities to connect with fellow members along the way.
